Software Engineering Internship at Salesforce

Basic Requirements:

  1. Pursuing a B.Tech/BE, currently in the second-to-last year in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  2. Proficient in object-oriented programming/design and strong in CS fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
  3. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write clear, efficient code.
  4. Adaptable, quick learner, and thrives in a fun, creative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Requirements:

  1. Experience in a professional coding environment, either academically or through internships, is a plus.
  2. Familiarity with Force.com/Salesforce application packaging and deployment is advantageous.
  3. Experience in building complex business applications using Java, C#, or C++ is beneficial.

Desired Skills:

  1. Self-motivated starter with strong Object-Oriented Programming skills and competency in JavaScript and associated frameworks.
  2. Knowledgeable in SQL, relational databases, HTML, and web technologies.
  3. Familiar with both front-end and back-end programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with software architects and senior developers on projects to be presented to interns and Salesforce Developers.
  2. Work on timely and relevant team projects that may feature in future software releases.
  3. Contribute to automated tests and testing infrastructure, and participate in product code reviews.
  4. Engage in product and feature design alongside developers, usability specialists, user interface designers, and product managers.
