Apply for AI Workforce: AICTE Initiative

 

The Global Developer Corps (GDC) AI Workforce is an initiative by AICTE, aimed at developing digital public goods with the help of students working alongside industry experts. This national program is designed for one lakh students to acquire the skills and practical experience necessary to lead future industry advancements. Participants will tackle challenging problems requiring innovative solutions and teamwork. Applications are now open for the GDC Batch of 2024.

By joining this program, one can become part of a community that leverages next-generation tools to boost productivity and make significant societal impacts. Gain access to a professional environment with India's top developers who create large-scale digital public goods. The 14-week coding program follows an AICTE-approved curriculum in advanced web development and includes feedback from industry experts to elevate your skills. Also have the opportunity to intern on live projects active in nine states across India, experiencing the societal impact of your work firsthand.

Upon completion, your efforts can be converted into “Academic Credits via ABC,” issued by TransDisciplinary University or home institution. Join a network of like-minded individuals for ongoing support and receive the GDC National Fellowship Certificate. Eligible candidates must be undergraduates or postgraduates in Indian higher education institutions, aged 18-25.

Timelines for the first cohort:

  • August 6, 2024: Application deadline
  • August 13, 2024: Screening test results and list of selected candidates published
  • August 14, 2024: Onboarding of selected students for training
